What is a virtual office & business address service?
Our address at 66B Kingsford Smith Street, Rongotai is a genuine, staffed Wellington location — not a PO Box and not an anonymous mailbox. It sits two minutes from Lyall Bay beach and five minutes from Wellington Airport, so it's an address clients and suppliers recognise and trust.
Running a registered company? You can use the address as your registered office when you also hold a desk or office membership. See desk plans.
Living overseas and need a personal New Zealand address (for mail, banking, IRD or KiwiSaver) rather than a business one? See our NZ address for overseas Kiwis.

Get Your Business AddressWhy use a professional business address?
It solves several things at once — credibility, compliance, convenience and privacy — for a fraction of the cost of renting an office.
Look established and credible
A real Wellington street address signals a settled, established business. Clients, suppliers and banks take you more seriously than they would a home address or PO Box.
Registered office for companies
Our Rongotai address meets the Companies Act 1993 physical-address requirement for a registered office. Add it to a desk or office membership to use it on the Companies Register.
Cheaper and more flexible than an office
Get a credible business presence without a lease, fit-out or CBD rent — on a simple month-to-month plan you can change or cancel anytime.
One fixed address for the long run
Work from home, travel, or move house without ever updating your business address. Customers and government keep one consistent point of contact.
Keep your home address private
Your home address stays off your website, invoices and public records — whether you trade under your own name or run a limited company.
Separate work and home
Draw a clear line between your business and your personal life — business mail and your business identity stay with your business, not at your front door.

Common questions
Why use a business address instead of my home address?
A business address lets you run your business without publishing your home address. If you register a company, your registered office is public on the Companies Register — so your home address would otherwise appear there; and sole traders equally may not want their home address on their website, invoices and contracts. A professional address keeps your private address private, looks more established to clients, and gives you one fixed point of contact even if you move house.
Can I use your address as my registered office on the Companies Register?
Companies can — when the address is part of a desk or office membership. The Companies Act 1993 requires a real physical street address for your registered office (a PO Box is not accepted), and our address at 66B Kingsford Smith Street, Rongotai, Wellington 6022 meets that requirement. Contact us and we will get you set up.
What can I use the business address for?
Anywhere you need to show a business address — your website, Google listing, invoices, contracts, business cards and email footer. We receive your mail and parcels and hold them for collection. Companies with a desk or office membership can also register it as their Companies Register office address.
How does mail and parcel handling work, and is there a fee?
We receive your letters and parcels and hold them securely. You can collect them from us anytime at no charge. If you would prefer we forward or redirect your mail to another address, we can do that for a small handling fee plus postage.
Do I need to rent a desk to get a business address?
Not if you are a sole trader, freelancer or individual — no desk required. Companies that need the address as a registered office add it to a desk or office membership.
Can I use the address if my business is based outside Wellington or overseas?
Yes. Many of our address clients are based elsewhere in New Zealand or overseas — the address works just as well whether you are in Auckland, Australia or further afield. We hold your mail for collection or forward it on for a small handling fee plus postage.
I’m setting up a New Zealand company from overseas — can you be my registered office?
Yes. A New Zealand company must have a New Zealand registered office at a real physical street address — a PO Box is not accepted, which is a common hurdle when you are based overseas. Our address at 66B Kingsford Smith Street, Rongotai meets that requirement, and like all companies using our address, your company will need a desk or office membership alongside the address service — it is not available on its own. As an overseas entity you will also complete an enhanced identity check first: certified/notarised or electronic ID verification, beneficial-owner details, and a short video verification call. Get in touch and we will walk you through setting it up.
Can I use the address for my online store or as a returns address?
Yes. Online and e-commerce sellers use it as their business and returns address — on your store, Trade Me or marketplace listings, invoices and shipping labels, instead of your home address. We receive and hold parcels and returns for collection, or forward them on for a small handling fee plus postage.
Do I have to keep my company records at the registered office?
New Zealand law requires certain company records to be available at your registered office. Most of our address-only clients keep these records digitally; we are happy to talk through the right setup for your company, and the Companies Office sets out exactly what must be kept.
Do you run an identity check?
Yes. We run a quick identity check when you sign up, and the service is subject to our standard terms of use. It keeps the address legitimate and everyone protected.
